TRANSFER ZONE - August 26th 2015



  • Chelsea are confident about completing a monster deal to bring French star Paul Pogba to Stamford Bridge before the end of the transfer window. In another development, the Blues have been given a boost in their chase for Everton defender, John Stones after the 21-year-old centre-back handed in a transfer request to quit Goodison Park. Consequently, Chelsea are set to offer a final bid in the region of £35 million, In another story, Chelsea have also lined up Argentine defender Ezequiel Garay as an option if they fail to land John Stones before the end of this transfer window.

  • Arsenal are hoping to complete the deal to bring PSG striker Edinson Cavani to the Emirates stadium this summer after missing out on Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema. In another development, Arsenal and Liverpool are in the race for the signature of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jakub Blaszczykowski who is valued at £10 million.

  • Premier League Champions, Chelsea have made a fresh move for Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane. The Stamford Bridge club are still poised to sign Everton defender John Stones and would offer another bid for the 21-year-old in the region of £40 million in the coming days. In another development, Juventus are set to complete the signing of Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado on a season-long loan deal. Chelsea have also completed the £6.7 million signing of Brazilian starlet Robert Kenedy from Fluminense. The 19-year-old was part of the Blues' pre-season tour to North America and will wear No. 16 shirt at the club this season.

  • Chelsea have lined up a £100 million swoop for French superstar Paul Pogba and Everton defender John Stones. The Stamford Bridge club are ready to splash £60 million to covet Paul Pogba from Juventus and also improve their bid to £40 million to land John Stones. The 21-year-old English defender is set to hand in a transfer request to force a move to Stamford Bridge. In a similar development, the Premier League Champions have announced the signing of Spanish forward Pedro Rodriguez from Barcelona on a four-year deal. 

  • Manchester United Boss, Louis van Gaal believes the club need to sign Real Madrid and Welsh wing wizard Gareth Bale to transform the team to title contenders this season. The deal will make the 20-year old winger the third most expensive premier league signing. In another development, the Etihad club have rejected Roma's £14 million bid for striker Edin Dzeko, holding out for £20 million.

  • Manchester United are on the verge of completing a triple transfer swoop worth £52 million. The Old Trafford club are set to complete the signings of Southampton's midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin for £25 million and German mercurial midfielder Bastian Schweinsteigger for £14 million. Both players have completed medicals and agreed personal terms with the club. The Red devils have earlier completed the £13 million signing of Italian wing-back Matteo Darmian. In a related development, the club are stepping up efforts to sign Benfica midfielder Nicolas Gaitan.

  •  Liverpool are now set to launch a swoop for Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke after selling Raheem Sterling to Manchester City.
