TRANSFER ZONE - 6th July 2015



  • Liverpool are ready to swoop for Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke. The Reds are set to trigger the £32.5 million release clause of the Belgian forward. The Anfield club have completed the signing of Nigerian-born teenager, Bobby Adekanye from Barcelona. In another story, Liverpool could make a £16 million move for Manchester City striker Stevan Jovetic. England forward, Raheem Sterling could lose up to £4 million in agent's fee if he completes a move to Manchester City this summer. 

  • Manchester United are set to hijack Chelsea's bid for Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic. The Red Devils are keen to find a replacement for David De Gea who could join Spanish giants Real Madrid this summer. The Old Trafford Club are set to sanction the sale of Chilean striker Angelo Henriquez to Dinamo Zagreb after he completed a loan deal with the club. In another development, Portuguese winger Nani is set to join Turkey clubside Fenerbahce after completing a medical yesterday. 

  • Premier League Champions, Chelsea have completed the signing of Colombian striker Radamel Falcao on a season-long loan deal with an option for a permanent deal.  In another development, Juventus have lined up a loan move for unsettled Colombian winger Juan Cuadrado. Chelsea are also in a race with Manchester United and Barcelona for the signing of Turkish and Atletico Madrid midfielder Arda Turan.

  • Arsenal are interested in a move for Barcelona midfielder Pedro. In another development, Spanish midfielder Santi Cazorla has been lined up by Atletico Madrid as a possible replacement for Arda Turan. German striker Lukas Podolski has signed a three-year deal with Turkish club Galatasaray. 

  • Tottenham have agreed an £11.5 million deal with Atletico Madrid for Belgian defender Toby Alderweireld. The White Hart Lane club have been asked to cough out £18 million to land Monaco and Belgian winger Yannick Ferreira Carrasco.

  • Newcastle United are ready to swoop for QPR striker Charlie Austin but will not pay above £12 million for the 26-year-old England forward.
