TRANSFER ZONE - 24th July 2015



  • Manchester United are intensifying efforts to re-sign Real Madrid Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo after his clash with New Boss Rafael Benitez. In another development, the Old Trafford club have been asked to cough out £22 million for Barcelona midfielder Pedro Rodriguez. In another story, French champions, PSG have tabled an initial £45 million bid for Argentine winger Angel Di Maria.

  • Arsenal are closing in on a move for Juventus striker Fernando Llorente. Arsene Wenger is keen to add to his striking options ahead of next season and is delighted that French striker Olivier Giroud has signed a new deal at the club. In another story, German club Borussia Dortmund has rejected Arsenal's £27 million bid for striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, insisting the 26-year-old is not for sale. Free Agent Abou Diaby is in talks with West Brom ahead of a potential move.

  • Manchester City have been dealt a huge blow in their bid to sign Brazilian defender Fabinho from Monaco. The 21-year old right-back will not be leaving the French club this season. In another story, German club Wolfsburg have revealed that Manchester City are yet to table a bid for Belgian playmaker, Kevin De Bruyne. Reports suggests that Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko is not in the plans of Manuel Pellegrini for next season. The 29-year-old striker has been linked with a move to Arsenal.

  • Newcastle United are on the brink of completing the £8.5 million signing of Anderlecht defender Chancel Mbemba. 

  • PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has refused to commit his future to the club, intensifying speculations about a potential move back to AC Milan. The French club have also revealed that French defender Lucas Digne has asked to leave the club.
