TRANSFER ZONE - 15th July 2015



  • Manchester City have completed the £49 million signing of Raheem Sterling from Liverpool on a five-year-deal. The 20-year-old England forward will wear shirt No. 7 at the club next season. The Etihad club are also set to launch a £40 million swoop for Wolfsburg playmaker Kevin De Bruyne. In a similar development, the Club are also weighing up a move for Everton midfielder, James McCarthy.  

  • Manchester United would welcome a swap deal involving Angel Di Maria and Edinson Cavani which would see both players move in opposite direction. In another story, the Old Trafford Club are ready to make a big money offer for Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski. In another development, Valencia defender Nicolas Otamendi is set to go on strike in order to force a move to Old Trafford. West ham United are considering a £9 million move for Mexican striker Javier Hernandez.

  • Premier League Champions, Chelsea are set to complete the signing of Barcelona midfielder Pedro Rodriguez after agreeing to meet the 27-year-old's £22 million release clause. The Stamford Bridge club have also moved to block Stoke City coming back for Nigerian forward Victor Moses.  

  • French Champions, PSG are willing to offer £43 million for Manchester United winger Angel Di Maria, and are also ready to match the Argentine's £200,000 weekly wage.

  • Arsenal have tabled a £10 million bid for Napoli defender Faouzi Ghoulam. The Gunners have also received a £6 million bid from Real Sociedad for Costa Rica forward Joel Campbell. 

  • Liverpool are in a race with Tottenham for the signature of Juventus striker, Fernando Llorente. The Anfield club are set to utilise the proceeds from the sale of Raheem Sterling to move for Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke but will not pay £32.5 million for the Belgian forward.
