• Premier League Champions, Chelsea have made a fresh move for Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane. The Stamford Bridge club are still poised to sign Everton defender John Stones and would offer another bid for the 21-year-old in the region of £40 million in the coming days. In another development, Juventus are set to complete the signing of Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado on a season-long loan deal. Chelsea have also completed the £6.7 million signing of Brazilian starlet Robert Kenedy from Fluminense. The 19-year-old was part of the Blues' pre-season tour to North America and will wear No. 16 shirt at the club this season. 

• Manchester United are confident about making a marquee signing before the end of the transfer window. The likes of Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller, Barcelona superstar Neymar and Real Madrid wing wizard Gareth Bale are among the list of possible targets. The Old Trafford club have also lined up a move for Benfica midfielder Nicolas Gaitan.

• Arsenal have been asked to cough out £50 million and above for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema. Gunners Boss, Arsene Wenger is keen to bring the 27-year old French forward to the Emirates stadium before the end of the transfer window.

• Tottenham are close to the £20 million signing of West Brom forward Saido Berahino after the 22-year old forward was left out of the squad that lost to Chelsea yesterday. 

• Italian clubside AC Milan are set to sign former forward Mario Balotelli on a season-long loan deal from Liverpool.
