• Manchester United are considering a fresh move for Tottenham striker Harry Kane. The Old Trafford club are keen to bring in more players before the end of the transfer window. The club have lined up a £17 million move for Lazio midfielder Lucas Biglia and £22 million move for Pedro Rodriguez from Barcelona. In a related development, the club are weighing a move for Ajax goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen.

• Chelsea are set to launch a third bid for Everton defender John Stones. The expected bid is in the region of £30 million. In another development, the Stamford Bridge club are set to complete the signing of Augsburg defender Baba Rahman in the coming days. 

• Manchester City have tabled a £46 million offer for Wolfsburg play maker Kevin De Bruyne. The Etihad club expect to complete the capture of the 24-year-old Belgian before this weekend. 

• Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger has debunked reports linking the club with a move for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema, adding that the club do not need to sign the French star to win the premier league this season.

• Stoke City are set to complete the £12 million signing of Swiss forward Xherdan Shaqiri.
