• Chelsea are confident about completing a monster deal to bring French star Paul Pogba to Stamford Bridge before the end of the transfer window. In another development, the Blues have been given a boost in their chase for Everton defender, John Stones after the 21-year-old centre-back handed in a transfer request to quit Goodison Park. Consequently, Chelsea are set to offer a final bid in the region of £35 million, In another story, Chelsea have also lined up Argentine defender Ezequiel Garay as an option if they fail to land John Stones before the end of this transfer window.

• Arsenal are hoping to complete the deal to bring PSG striker Edinson Cavani to the Emirates stadium this summer after missing out on Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema. In another development, Arsenal and Liverpool are in the race for the signature of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jakub Blaszczykowski who is valued at £10 million. 

• Tottenham have been asked to cough out £25 million for West Brom forward Saido Berahino. The Baggies have rejected £21 million bid from the White Hart Club for the 22-year-old attacker. Tottenham are expected to table a third bid in the coming days. In another development, Argentine forward Erik Lamela is a target for Italian club Inter Milan.
