• Manchester United have been told that Tottenham striker Harry Kane is not for sale. Boss, Louis van Gaal is keen to boost his striking options in order to mount a serious title challenge this new season. In another development, Belgian starlet Adnan Januzaj has emerged a loan target for Sunderland.

• Arsenal are still confident about landing French striker, Karim Benzema before the end of the transfer window. Reports from Spain suggest that Real Madrid Boss Rafa Benitez has reportedly sanctioned the sale of the 27-year-old forward. In another development, the Emirates club are eyeing a £22 million move for Sevilla midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak. 

• Manchester City wants Belgian play maker, Kevin De Bruyne to declare his intention to move to the Etihad. Reports claim that the club have tabled an offer in excess of £45 million for the Wolfsburg star. 

• Chelsea are considering firming up their interest in Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain but may not meet up the Argentine's release clause in the region of £66 million. In another development, the Stamford Bridge club are set to complete the signing of Augsburg left-back Baba Rahman within the next 24 hours. 

• Stoke City have completed the £12 million signing of Swiss international Xherdan Shaqiri on a five-year deal and will wear shirt no. 22 at the club this season.
