- Manchester City have agreed a £49 million deal with Liverpool for the transfer of England forward Raheem Sterling. The deal will make the 20-year old winger the third most expensive premier league signing. In another development, the Etihad club have rejected Roma's £14 million bid for striker Edin Dzeko, holding out for £20 million.
- Manchester United are on the verge of completing a triple transfer swoop worth £52 million. The Old Trafford club are set to complete the signings of Southampton's midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin for £25 million and German mercurial midfielder Bastian Schweinsteigger for £14 million. Both players have completed medicals and agreed personal terms with the club. The Red devils have earlier completed the £13 million signing of Italian wing-back Matteo Darmian. In a related development, the club are stepping up efforts to sign Benfica midfielder Nicolas Gaitan.
- Liverpool are now set to launch a swoop for Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke after selling Raheem Sterling to Manchester City. The Anfield club have made a £22 million offer for Real Madrid and Russian winger Denis Cheryshev. In another development, former defender Glen Johnson has signed a two-year deal with Stoke City.
- Arsenal have set their sights on Manchester United defender Jonny Evans.The club could reignite their interest in Juventus starlet Kingsley Coman.
- FC Porto have completed the signing of Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas on a two-year deal with an option of a third year. The move has created room for the Spanish giants to land Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea.
- Premier League champions, Chelsea have launched a £20 million move for Barcelona midfielder Pedro Rodriguez. The 27-year-old midfielder became surplus to requirement after the Catalan club signed Arda Turan from Atletico Madrid. Boss Jose Mourinho is set to complete the signing of Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.
- French Champions, PSG are poised to sign Manchester United winger Angel Di Maria. The Argentine forward has failed to live up to expectations at Old Trafford and would welcome a switch to Parc des Princes.
