TRANSFER ZONE - 31st July 2015



  • Manchester United are set to hijack Chelsea's bid for Everton defender, John Stones and are willing to include Jonny Evans in the deal. Valencia defender, Nicolas Otamendi is also a target. Boss, Loius van Gaal is still in the market for a centre-back after missing out to sign Spanish defender Sergio Ramos. In another story, the Old Trafford club have been asked to cough out £80 million for Real Madrid Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

  • Liverpool are closing in on a deal to sign Barcelona starlet Adama Traore. The Anfield club are in advanced talks with Barcelona for a loan deal for the 19-year-old winger. In another development, Italian striker Mario Balotelli has been linked with a move back to Italy to Serie A clubside Bologna. The fiery forward has been left out of Liverpool's pre-season fixtures.

  • Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko has agreed personal terms to join Italian club Roma. The 29-year-old Bosnian striker has also been a target for Arsenal.

  • French Champions PSG are close to agreeing a £45 million deal with Manchester United to sign Argentine winger, Angel Di Maria. In another story, Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed that his next club will be a 'big surprise'.    

  • Chelsea are close to signing Jamaican starlet, Leon Bailey. It is expected that the 17-year-old would be signed and shipped out on loan to Belgium club Genk.

  • French Champions PSG are on the verge of completing the £52 million signing of Manchester United winger Angel Di Maria. Reports suggests that a deal to sign the Argentine forward is nearly complete.  

  • Chelsea have confirmed the £15 million sale of Brazilian defender Filipe Luis back to Atletico Madrid. The 29-year-old defender has struggled to displace Cesar Azpilicueta at the left-back position at Stamford Bridge. In a related development, Egyptian winger Mohammed Salah is set to complete a loan move to Roma with an option of a permanent deal. 

  • Togolese striker, Emmanuel Adebayor is set to undergo a medical at Aston Villa ahead of a possible switch. The Villa Park club are keen to replace departed Belgian striker, Christian Benteke. 

  • Bayern Munich have announced the signing of Chilean forward Arturo Vidal from Juventus on a four-year deal.

  • Manchester United have completed the signing of Argentine goalkeeper Sergio Romero from Sampdoria on a three-year deal. The Old Trafford club are still weighing up a £50 million move to bring Spanish defender Sergio Ramos to the club. Boss, Louis van Gaal has debunked reports linking the club with a move to re-sign Real Madrid Superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo. In another development, Argentine winger Angel Di Maria has reportedly requested for a move to French champions, PSG.

  • Arsenal are set to table a second bid for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema after their intial £31 million bid was rejected. The Gunners are willing to smash transfer record to land the French striker. In another development, target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has revealed his intention to stay with Borussia Dortmund next season. Arsenal are also closing in on a move for AC Milan goalkeeper, Marcos Amelia. The 33-year old Italian goalkeeper has been lined up as a replacement for outgoing Wojciech Szczesny.

The 21-year-old defender has been lined up a replacement for Filipe Luis who is set to return to Atletico Madrid.

  • Manchester United are reportedly eyeing Juventus striker Fernando Llorente. Boss, Louis van Gaal is keen to sign a potent striker ahead of the new season. In another development, Manchester United are in talks with French giants PSG over the transfer of Argentine winger Angel Di Maria who is valued at £50 million. The Old Trafford club are also set to finalise a deal for Argentine goalkeeper Sergio Romero.

  • Manchester United are on the verge of completing a triple transfer swoop worth £52 million. The Old Trafford club are set to complete the signings of Southampton's midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin for £25 million and German mercurial midfielder Bastian Schweinsteigger for £14 million. Both players have completed medicals and agreed personal terms with the club. The Red devils have earlier completed the £13 million signing of Italian wing-back Matteo Darmian.
