• Premier League Champions, Chelsea are in talks with Colombian striker Radamel Falcao over a potential switch to Stamford Bridge. The 29-year-old striker is keen to take a massive pay cut to join the Blues. In a related development, the Stamford Bridge club have lined up Athletico Madrid defender Toby Alderwiereld as a potential replacement for Filipe Luis. Chelsea's Ghanaian midfielder Christian Atsu has joined premier league new boys AFC Bournemouth on a season-long loan deal.

• Manchester United are poised to hijack Arsenal's move for Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin. Boss Louis van Gaal is keen to provide an alternative option to aging England midfielder Micheal Carrick. The Club have also made an offer for Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca. The Club's target Ilkay Gundogan has revealed he has held talks with Barcelona and Bayern Munich over a potential switch. The Old Trafford have been linked to Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain and Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema as their hunt for a striker continues.

• Arsene Wenger has revealed that the club will not be able to sign superstar midfielder Paul Pogba due to financial constraints. The Frenchman have also played down a move for Juventus forward Arturo Vidal. He also revealed that FA Cup hero Theo Walcott will stay at the club next season. In a related development, the North London club are battling with Liverpool for the signature of Manchester city forward, James Milner. The Emirate Club have also joined Liverpool and Tottenham in the chase for Belgian striker Christian Benteke who is currently valued at £32 million.

• Manchester City and Ivorian midfielder Yaya Toure has revealed that he is staying at the Etihad Club and hoping to challenge for major honours next season. In another development, Manchester City's U-21 manager, Patrick Vieira is in talks with Newcastle United over the managerial vacancy at St. James' Park. 

• Liverpool are stepping up their interest in Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette. The Anfield club have lined up a £10.5 million move for Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas and are also interested in Stoke City's goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.

• Aston Villa have lined up 23-year-old Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson as a potential replacement for Christian Benteke.

• PSG are plotting a move for AC Milan goalkeeper Diego Lopez. The French Champions are in hunt for an experienced goalkeeper. Chelsea's Petr Cech is among the list of targets.

• Crystal Palace are eyeing out-of-favour Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor. Boss Alan Pardew is keen to revive the Togolese striker's career.
