TRANSFER ZONE - 15th June 2015



  • Manchester United are set to launch a £30 million bid for Lazio mercurial midfielder Felipe Anderson. Manager Louis van Gaal is keen to boost attacking firepower in the squad. The Old Trafford club are on the verge of completing the signing of Valencia and Argentine defender Nicolas Otamendi. In another development, Dutch striker Robin van Persie is set to stay and fight for his place at the club after denying reports linking him with a move away from Old Trafford. Another club target Carlos Bacca is set to sign for Italian side Roma.

  • Liverpool have reportedly agreed a deal with Inter Milan for the signature of Croatian midfielder Mateo Kovacic. The Anfield club are also set to launch an improved bid for Southampton defender Nathaniel Clyne after their £10 million initial bid was rejected. Liverpool have also lined up a £15 million move to sign QPR striker Charlie Austin. 

  • Manchester City are confident about completing a move for Liverpool forward, Raheem Sterling, but are not willing to pay more than £40 million for the England winger. The Etihad club are still working on deals to bring Juventus star Paul Pogba and Wolfsburg playmeaker Kevin De Bruyne to the club.

  • Premier League Champions, Chelsea have reportedly agreed personal terms to sign Colombian striker Radamel Falcao. The Stamford Bridge club want to sign the 29-year-old forward on a season-long loan with no option of a permanent deal at the end of the agreement. The club have also reportedly joined the race to sign Spanish and Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos who is currently valued at £50 million. 

  • Everton are considering a move for Arsenal and German striker Lukas Podolski. The 30-year-old forward has also been linked with a move to Turkish club, Galatasaray. 

  • Newcastle United have lined up a £9 million move for Wolfsburg striker Bas Dost.
