TRANSFER ZONE - 10th June 2015




  • Manchester United have lined up a move for Athletico Madrid striker Mario Mandzukic. Manager, Louis van Gaal is keen to replace departed on-loan striker Radamel Falcao. The Old Trafford club are also closing in on a deal to bring PSG defender Gregory van der Wiel to the club. The 27-year-old Dutch defender is currently valued at £7 million. In a related development, the Club's target Dani Alves have performed a dramatic u-turn to sign a new two-year deal with European Champions, Barcelona. Mexican forward Javier Hernandez has returned to Manchester United after his season-long loan to Real Madrid, and is keen to resurrect his career at the club.

  • Premier League Champions, Chelsea are still plotting a move for Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain. The 27-year-old striker has been lined up as a possible replacement for retiring Ivorian striker Didier Drogba. In another development, Manager Jose Mourinho has revealed that any deal that will take goalkeeper Petr Cech away from the Stamford Bridge must involve a swap deal. The club are also considering a move for Marseille midfielder Giannelli Imbula.

  • Arsenal are getting set to swoop for Porto striker Jackson Martinez. Club Boss, Arsene Wenger needs to offload the likes of Lukas Podolski, Yaya Sanogo and Joel Campbell this summer to free up cash for the 28-year-old Colombian.

  • Italian Champions, Juventus have completed the signing of Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira on a four-year-deal. The Turin-based club are also ready to offer £10 million for Dutch striker Robin van Persie.

  • Ghanaian forward Andre Ayew is set to join Swansea City on a free transfer. West Ham United are also keen to sign the Marseille star.

  • German Champions Bayern Munich are closing in on a move for Manchester United forward Angel di Maria. The 27-year-old Argentine has been slapped with a £44 million price tag.

  • Real Madrid are set to ship out starlet Martin Odegaard on loan this summer to Sevilla so as to gain first team experience.
