TRANSFER ZONE - 21st January 2015




  • Chelsea are set to launch a £26.8 million bid for Fiorentina winger and Manchester United target Juan Cuadrado. The Stamford Bridge club expect the sale of winger Andre Schurrle and Egyptian forward Mohammed Salah this transfer window. Wolfsburg have offered £23 million for the services of the German forward but Jose Mourinho is holding out for £30 million. The Blues have lined up Juan Cuadrado, a Colombian star, as a possible replacement. 

  • Manchester United have slapped a £50 million price tag on in-form goalkeeper David De Gea who is a target for Real Madrid. The Old Trafford Club have also lined up a £15 million move to bring back Barcelona and Spanish defender Gerard Pique back to the club. In a related development, the club have refuted reports linking them with moves for Valencia centre-back Nicolas Otamendi and Villareal defender Gabriel Paulista.

  • Arsenal are weighing up a £9 million move for Newcastle and Ivorian defensive midfielder Cheick Tiote. The Gunners have completed the signing of Swedish starlet Kristopher de Graca. The 17-year old defender is expected to join the Club's U-18 squad. The Club is also in a race with Manchester United, Liverpool and PSG for the signature of Argentine striker Paulo Dybala. Meanwhile, Boss Arsene Wenger has denied reports linking the club with a move for Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira.

  • Manchester City have lined up a summer move for Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool target Marco Reus. The Borussia Dortmund superstar has a £20 million release clause in his contract. Boss Manuel Pellegrini intends to make the German midfielder one of the best-paid stars at the Club.

  • Aston Villa Manager Paul Lambert has insisted that striker Christian Benteke will not be sold this transfer window despite the Belgian's struggle to find the net this season.

  • Newcastle United are considering a move for Hamburg striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga. West Brom, Hull City and Swansea City are all interested in the 23-year old forward.
