TRANSFER ZONE - 6th July 2014



  • Barcelona are offering £10 million for Arsenal skipper and Manchester United target Thomas Vermaelen, who has fallen down the pecking order at the Emirate Stadium. Arsene Wenger is ready to offload the Belgium defender to a club abroad rather than strengthen a rival club. 

  • Manchester United's interest in Chilean forward Arturo Vidal appears to be fading amid concerns over a knee injury to the Juventus midfielder. 

  • Arsenal are set to make an audacious move for Liverpool defender Daniel Agger.

  • Liverpool have accepted a £2.5 million bid from Bayern Munich for the transfer of Spanish goalkeeper Pepe Reina who is set to undergo medicals at the Allianz Arena today.

  • Real Madrid are willing to listen to offers for Xabi Alonso amid concerns over the Spaniards weight and fitness.
