• Manchester United have agreed a £16 million fee with Sporting Lisbon for the transfer of Marcos Rojo, with Portuguese winger Nani going the opposite way on a season-long loan. The move is subject to the Argentine defender passing a medical and agreeing personal terms.

• Chelsea are set to rival Arsenal with a £35 million bid for Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho.

• Tottenham are ready for a £24 million double swoop for Manchester United duo of Javier Hernandez and Marouane Fellaini.
