  • Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has revealed that the club will not sell popular Brazilian defender David Luiz at any price to Barcelona.

  • Barcelona have turned their attention to signing PSG defender Mamadou Sakho after failing in their bids for David Luiz of Chelsea and Daniel Agger of Liverpool.

  •  Manchester United are monitoring Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas' situation and will consider launching a final bid if the Spaniard starts the La Liga season from the bench.

  • Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has denied reports that he was ready to make a sensational u-turn and stay at the club.

  •  Manchester City have turned their attention to Atletico Madrid defender Martin Demichelis after failing in their bid to land Real Madrid defender Pepe.

  • Arsenal are still hopeful of landing Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez after the Liverpool forward rubbished reports claiming he wants to stay at Anfield.

  • Manchester United have also joined the race for the signature of Cameroon striker Samuel Eto'o. 

  • Everton boss Roberto Martinez is convinced that left-back Leighton Baines will stay at the club despite Manchester United's final offer for the England international. 

  • Tottenham have lined up £30 million bid for Roma's Argentine star Erik Lamela. 

  • Hull City have completed the £5.25 million signing of Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone and a season-long loan deal for Jake Livermore.
