- Manchester United have failed in their fresh bid to land Southampton forward Saido Mane. The Old Trafford club have been told that the 23-year old Senegalese international will not leave St Mary's Stadium this January transfer window. In a related development, Manchester United are weighing up a move for Leicester City in-form striker Jamie Vardy. Boss Louis Van Gaal is keen to boost his struggling attacking options. In another development, the Red Devils are in talks with Borussia Dortmund to terminate Adnan Januzaj's season-long loan deal at the German club.
- Reports suggest that Chelsea star Eden Hazard is set to spark a bidding war this summer between Real Madrid and French giants PSG. The 26-year old superstar is keen to quit Stamford Bridge at the end of the season and expected to command a transfer fee of over £90 million. Bayern Munich are also keen on the Belgian winger.
- Liverpool have completed the £5.1 million signing of Marko Grujic from Red Star Belgrade. The 19-year old midfielder is set to remain at Red Star Belgrade on loan until the end of the season.
