TRANSFER ZONE - January 4th 2016



  • Arsenal are ready to launch a £42 million swoop for in-form Borussia Dortmund and Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The Gunners have also been linked with a move for Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne. In a related development, Arsenal are set to complete the £5 million signing of Basle and Egyptian midfielder Mohammed Elneny who has reportedly completed a medical at the club and awaiting international clearance. The Gunners are also interested in a £15 million move for PSG star Adrien Rabiot. In another development, Mathieu Debuchy is ready to quit Arsenal. The 30-year old French defender is set to join West Brom on loan for the rest of the season.

  • Chelsea are set to reignite their interest in Everton defender John Stones. The Stamford Bridge club are set to launch a £50 million bid for the 21 year-old England international. In another development, Chelsea are monitoring the situation with PSG defender Marquinhos after it emerged that the 21-year old Brazilian is considering his future with the French club. In another development, Italian club AC Milan, are weighing up a move for Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic. The Serbian defender is out of contract this summer and is yet to agree a deal at Stamford Bridge.  

  •  Manchester United are keen to land the signature of Southampton forward Saido Mane who is currently valued at a whooping £62.5 million. The Senegal international wants a big move and will command £125,000-a-week in wages. In a similar development, the Old Trafford Club have reportedly agreed a £35 million deal with Lazio for Brazilian forward Felipe Anderson. The Red Devils and Chelsea are in battle for the signing of Stoke City forward Bojan Krkic after it was revealed that the Spaniard has a £10 million release clause in his contract.  

  • Liverpool are set to complete the signing of Serbian midfielder Marko Grujic. The 19-year old playmaker is set to undergo a medical at Anfield today ahead of a possible switch.

  • Manchester City are considering a £30 million move for Real Madrid star Isco.
