- Chelsea have reportedly tabled a £6.9 million bid for Sporting Lisbon starlet Armindo Tue Na Bangna commonly known as Bruma.
- Swansea City have confirmed the £12 million club record signing of Vitesse Arnhem and Ivorian striker Wilfried Bony on a four-year deal.
- Monaco have also joined in the race to sign Chelsea and Nigerian midfielder John Obi Mikel.
- Southampton have completed the signing of Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama for £12 million on a four-year deal.
