TRANSFER ZONE - June 19th 2016




  • Manchester United have been asked to stump £125 million to land Juventus and France Superstar Paul Pogba. In a similar development, new boss, Jose Mourinho is poised to strengthen his defence line with a move for another Juventus star and Italian defence ace Leonardo Bonucci. In other news, the Portuguese tactician is considering a swap deal involving Matteo Darmian and Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic. Reports suggest that the new boss is planning a clear-out involving Juan Mata, Marouane Fellaini, Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis Depay.

  • Manchester City are set to complete the £37.5 million signing of Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos. New Boss Pep Guardiola has identified the 26-year-old German as a top midfield target. In a related development, the Spanish boss has also lined up a move for Celta Vigo winger and Arsenal target Nolito who has a £14 million release clause in his contract. 

  • Arsenal are considering a £16 million move for Manchester United's Daley Blind. Reports suggest that the 26-year-old Dutch is set to be axed under new Manager Jose Mourinho. In other news, Arsenal have reportedly completed the signing of Nigeria starlet Kelechi Nwakali and is set to hand the 18-year-old Nigerian shirt number 25 next season. In another development, the club is set offer Arsene Wenger a new three-year deal to keep him at the Emirate stadium until 2019.

  • European Champions Real Madrid are eyeing Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas for a move which could upset Barcelona fans. In another development, the Santiago Bernabeu club have also joined in the race for the signature of France superstar Paul Pogba.   

  • Liverpool have been asked to fork out £40 million for Southampton and Senegalese forward Sadio Mane. The Anfield Club are also lining up a £23.5 million move for Real Madrid and Croatian midfielder Mateo Kovacic.  

  • Chelsea face competition from Arsenal and Barcelona for the signature of £20 million-rated Lille striker Sofiane Boufal. In another development, Italian midfielder Emanuele Giaccherini has been linked with a move to Chelsea. 

  • Newcastle United have slapped a £25 milllion price tag on Dutch midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum amidst interest from Everton.

  • Sunderland have lined up an audacious move for Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko. Club boss Sam Allardyce is poised to bring the 30-year-old Roma striker back to the premier league.

  • Arsenal have lined up PSG and Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani as an alternative should the club fail in their bid to land Leicester City hitman Jamie Vardy. In a similar development, the club are also weighing up a £15 million move for Albania striker Elseid Hysaj. In other news, Arsenal are ready to loan Poland goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny back to Roma next season.

  • Manchester United have lined up a £22 million bid for Leicester City and France midfielder N'Golo Kante. New Boss Jose Mourinho who has been reportedly handed a £200 million transfer war chest, has completed his first signing with the £30 million capture of Villareal defender Eric Bailly on a four-year deal. The Portuguese tactician has been linked with a move for Inter Milan defender Joao Miranda. In other news, the release clause of David de Gea is set to expire in the next few days, with Real Madrid running out of time to sign the Spanish goalkeeper. Meanwhile, Barcelona are set to beat Manchester United in the race to sign Valencia midfielder Andre Gomes.

  • Manchester City have been asked to fork out £65 million to land Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. New Boss Pep Guardiola have lined up moves for Athletic Bilbao defender Aymeric Laporte, and wants Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng back to the Etihad Stadium. In other news, Yaya Toure and Pablo Zabaleta are reportedly set to quit the club with a move to AC Milan should Manuel Pellegrini join the Italian club. 

  • Liverpool are set to launch a bid for Argentine defender Gabriel Mercado, a revelation at the on-going Copa America Centenario. In a related development, the Anfield club have lined up summer moves for Barcelona winger Cristian Tello and Bayern Munich's Mario Gotze. In other news, club target Piotr Zielinski is close to joining Italian club Napoli.

  • French giants PSG have lined up a £153 million move for Barcelona star Neymar as a replacement for Premier-league bound Zlatan Ibrahimovic. 

  • Italian giants Juventus are set to firm up their interest with a bid for Everton striker Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian forward is in search of Champions league football next season and has turned down a move back to former club Chelsea.

  • Arsenal are on the verge of completing a £20 million shock move for Leicester and England striker Jamie Vardy. Reports suggest that the Gunners triggered the release clause of the 29-year old with a £22 million bid. The Emirates Club are expected to complete the signing within the next 24 hours. In a related development, Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has also revealed that Jamie Vardy wants to join the club. It is being reported that the Gunners intend to offer the striker £120,000-a-week-wage. 

  • Manchester United have lined up a £32 million move for Villareal sensational defender Eric Bailly. New Boss Jose Mourinho hopes to begin a rebuilding process at Old Trafford. In a similar development, the Old Trafford club are set to complete the signing of Sweden star Zlatan Ibrahimovic this week. Reports claim that the 34-year old forward has agreed personal terms to join the club. In another development, Manchester United and Manchester City are in a battle for the signature of Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

  • Chelsea are in advanced talks with Leicester City over the signing of midfielder N'Golo Kante. In other news, Chelsea are in a battle with Arsenal over the signature of Borussia Dortmund forward Henrik Mkhitaryan but the Armenia International prefers a move to Arsenal.
