TRANSFER ZONE - 8th June 2014



  • Arsenal are leading the chase for the signature of AC Milan and Italian striker Mario Balotelli. With Liverpool also in the race for the fiery Italian, Arsene Wenger is keen to snap up the former Manchester City hitman in a deal worth £20 million.

  • Chelsea have lined up a £10 million move for Atletico Madrid defender Miranda. The club is also working towards bringing back legendary striker Didier Drogba back to Stamford Bridge this summer.

  • Juventus have enquired from Chelsea on the possibility of taking striker Romelu Lukaku on loan, after the Belgium international admitted that he may leave Stamford Bridge. 

  • Liverpool have opened the door for a potential move for Marseille forward Andre Ayew. The Ghanaian star has revealed his intention to quit the club with one year remaining in his contract with Marseille.

  • Manchester United have lined up a £25 million move for Bayern Munich forward Thomas Mueller. The German forward is in search of a regular first team football which new boss Louis Van Gaal is willing to offer the 24-year old.

  • Manchester City have lined up Real Madrid defender Pepe as the man to partner Vincent Kompany in the heart of defence next season. The club is willing to pay £25 million for the Portuguese defender.

  • Manchester United are willing to re-sign midfielder Paul Pogba. Consequently Juventus have slapped a £60 million price tag on the French star.

  • QPR and Liverpool are looking to beat Arsenal to the signing of Toulouse right back, Serge Aurier. Arsene Wenger has identified the Ivorian right-back as a possible replacement for departed defender Bacary Sagna. Liverpool are set to table a £7  million bid for the Ivorian in the coming days.

  • Everton are interested in a loan move for Sunderland winger Adam Johnson. The club have also lined up a move for Real Sociedad midfielder Ruben Pardo.
