TRANSFER ZONE - June 11th 2017
- Manchester United have agreed a fee with Benfica for the transfer of Sweden international defender,Victor Lindelof subject to passing medicals and international clearance. The deal to sign the 22-year old defender is in the region of £30.75 million. In a similar development,the Old Trafford club are close to the £64 million signing of Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata.
- Manchester City have lined up a move for Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez and are willing to make the 28-year old Chilean the highest paid player at the club. In another development,the Etihad club are not willing to reignite their interest in Southampton defender, Virgil Van Dijk as Liverpool ended their interest in the Dutch Centre Back.
- Arsenal have lined up a move for Real Madrid midfielder, James Rodriguez. Club Boss, Arsene Wenger is still interested in bringing Monaco Sensation Kylian Mbappe to the Emirates this summer. In another development, English winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is a £40 million target for Liverpool and West Ham United are confident about signing Olivier Giroud this summer. Also West Ham United are set to hijack Arsenal's move for Nigerian international Henry Onyekuru.
- Chelsea are close to completing the signing of Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko. The Stamford Bridge club are also set to launch a £48.5 million bid for Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci.
- Reports in Spain suggest that Lionel Messi has urged Barcelona to sign Leicester winger, Riyad Mahrez. The Algerian forward has been a target for a host of Premier League clubs including Arsenal and Chelsea.
- Real Madrid have lined up AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma as an option if they fail in their bid to land for Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea.
