- Manchester City are set to launch a £110 million swoop for four defenders. The target defenders are Tottenham's Kyle Walker valued at £50 million, Southampton's Ryad Bertrand valued at £25 million, Monaco's Benjamin Mendy valued at £40 million and Juventus' Dani Alves who is a free agent. City Boss Pep Guardiola is keen to fortify his defence ahead of a title push and champions league assault next season.
- Chelsea are set to complete the signing of Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, the 22 year-old Frenchman is set to undergo a medical at Stamford Bridge in the coming days. Boss Antonio Conte is keen to find an ideal midfield partner for N'Golo Kante ahead of the new season. In a similar development, Chelsea are set to launch a £48 million bid for Juventus ace defender Leonardo Bonucci.
