- Manchester United are close to the signing of Benfica defender Victor Lindelof. The deal for the 22-year old is believed to be in the region of £38 million and has been allocated shirt No.2 at Old Trafford should the deal pull through this month. In other news, Real Madrid star James Rodriguez has issued a 'come and get me plea' to boss Jose Mourinho. In another development, the club are also interested in Chievo Verona goalkeeper Alessandro Confente.
- Manchester City have revived their interest in Atletic Bilbao defender Aymeric Laporte who has a £55 million buy-out clause. In another development, The Etihad club are set to ship out Fabian Delph on loan this month.
- Chelsea are considering a swap deal which will see striker Michy Batshuayi and Swansea striker Fernando Llorente move in the opposite direction. In another development, club boss Antonio Conte is considering recalling Nathan Ake from his loan deal at AFC Bournemouth. Also the Italian manager is in talks with England midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek over a possible loan move this month. Watford and Middlesborough are among the list of interested clubs.
- French Club PSG have lined up a £60 million move for Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez and are ready to offer the Chilean forward a £200,000-a-week.
- Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid are locked in a battle for the signature of Tottenham sensational midfielder Dele Alli.
