TRANSFER ZONE - January 15th 2017



  • Manchester United have lined up a move for Atalanta midfield sensation Frank Kessie. Club boss Jose Mourinho is also interested in bringing Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic to the club. The Old Trafford Club are also in a battle with Chelsea over the signature of Lazio defender Stefan de Vrij. In another development, Spanish club Sevilla are plotting a loan move for Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford. Chinese club, Shandong Luneng are eyeing England midfielder Ashley Young.

  • Chelsea have lined up a £75 million move for Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller as a possible replacement should striker Diego Costa leave for the Chinese Super League this month, Everton's Romelu Lukaku is also among the list of possible targets for Costa's replacement.  

  • French club PSG are plotting a raid on premier league clubs with a move for Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi and Manchester United flop Memphis Depay. 

  • West Ham United have a slapped a £35 million price tag on want-away star Dimitri Payet. The club have also lined up Gylfi Sigurdsson valued at £20 million as a possible replacement. 

  • Manchester City Manager Pep Guardiola is planning a massive clearance at the club with up to 11 players set to be offloaded during the summer. In a related development, Yaya Toure is set to get a new deal at the club.

  • Manchester United are close to the signing of Benfica defender Victor Lindelof. The deal for the 22-year old is believed to be in the region of £38 million and has been allocated shirt No.2 at Old Trafford should the deal pull through this month. In other news, Real Madrid star James Rodriguez has issued a 'come and get me plea' to boss Jose Mourinho. In another development, the club are also interested in Chievo Verona goalkeeper Alessandro Confente. 

  • Manchester City have revived their interest in Atletic Bilbao defender Aymeric Laporte who has a £55 million buy-out clause. In another development, The Etihad club are set to ship out Fabian Delph on loan this month.

  • Chelsea are considering a swap deal which will see striker Michy Batshuayi and Swansea striker Fernando Llorente move in the opposite direction. In another development, club boss Antonio Conte is considering recalling Nathan Ake from his loan deal at AFC Bournemouth. Also the Italian manager is in talks with England midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek over a possible loan move this month. Watford and Middlesborough are among the list of interested clubs. 

  • French Club PSG have lined up a £60 million move for Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez and are ready to offer the Chilean forward a £200,000-a-week. 

  • Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid are locked in a battle for the signature of Tottenham sensational midfielder Dele Alli.

  • Manchester United have rejected a £19 million bid from Everton for Morgan Schneiderlin. The Old Trafford Club are instead, considering a swap-deal that will see the French International (Morgan Schneiderlin) and Marseille midfielder Lassana Diarra move in the opposite direction. In another development, Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann has dismissed speculations linking him with a move to Old Trafford. 

  • Chelsea are eyeing West Ham forward Michail Antonio. The Stamford bridge club have identified the 26-year old English forward as a possible replacement for Oscar who recently completed a move to China. 

  • Arsenal have lined up a move for Miralem Pjanic. The Bosnian International have struggled to make an impact at Juventus this season. Reports suggest that Arsenal have tabled a £29 million bid for the Juventus midfielder.

  • Premier League Champions, Leicester City have completed the signing of Nigerian International Wilfred Ndidi from Belgium club Genk. The 20-year old is expected to sign a five-and-a-half year deal once he is granted a work permit, and will wear shirt No. 25 at the club this season.
