- Manchester United are in talks with Juventus over the £110 million world record signing of France Superstar Paul Pogba. The deal is expected to be completed within the next few days. The Old Trafford club have also lined up a move Brazilian teenage sensation Gabriel Jesus. In other news, new boss Jose Mourinho is set for a massive clear-out of players at Old Trafford including Bastian Schweinsteigger, Memphis Depay, Marcos Rojo and Matteo Damian.
- Arsenal have launched a £75 million double swoop for Lyon forward Alexander Lacazette and Leicester City star Riyad Mahrez. In a related development, Arsenal have been dealt a blow in their chase for Matthias Ginter after been told that the German defender is not for sale.
- Chelsea have ended their interest in Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly as the Stamford Bridge club have turned their attention to Lazio defender Stefan De Vrij. In a related development, Chelsea are still confident about completing a deal to bring back Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku to the club before the end of the summer transfer window.
- Manchester City are set to launch a £50 million move for Everton defender John Stones this week. In another news, Swansea City are interested in re-signing Ivorian striker Wilfried Bony from Etihad Stadium.
- Italian Champions Juventus are set to complete the £79 million signing of Napoli and Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain. The 28-year old forward has undergone medical at the club ahead of the switch.
- Everton has agreed a £25 million fee with Zenit St Petersburg for the transfer of Belgium star Axel Witsel.
