TRANSFER ZONE - July 23rd 2017


  • Manchester City have completed the signing of Danilo Luiz Da Silva from Real Madrid on a five-year deal. The 26-year old Brazilian has passed a medical and agreed personal terms with the club. The Etihad Club have agreed a fee believed to be in excess £51 million for Monaco left-back Benjamin Mendy. In another development, Italian club Roma has completed the £4.4 million signing of Left-back Aleksandar Kolarov on a three-year deal.

  • Liverpool have reportedly agreed a record £74 million transfer fee with RB Leipzig of Germany for Guinea midfielder, Naby Keita. In another development, the Anfield Club have ended their interest in Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. In other news, Spanish Giants Barcelona are set to launch an £80 million move for Brazilian playmaker Philippe Coutinho. The 25 year-old attacker earlier signed a new five-year deal at Anfield back in January.  

  • Manchester United have reportedly launched a £40 bid for Tottenham utility player, Eric Dier. The Old Trafford club are now frustrated with their chase for Chelsea's Nemanja Matic as the Stamford Bridge club is holding out for £50 million for the 28-year old Serbian. The club have also lined up moves for Bayern Munich stars Renato Sanches and Arturo Vidal should the deals for Eric Dier and Nemanja Matic falls through. Boss Jose Mourinho is keen to boost his midfield options ahead of the new season. In other news, David De Gea will not be leaving Old Trafford this summer despite renewed interest from Real Madrid. 

  • French club, PSG are considering a £35 million bid for Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean star has 12 months left in his contract with Arsenal who insists that he is not for sale. Reports suggest that Sanchez wants a £500,000 weekly wage to join the Paris club. In another development, the Parisians are ready to meet the £195 million release clause for Barcelona and Brazilian star Neymar. The 25-year old Super star is keen to leave Nou Camp this summer after becoming increasingly frustrated with playing second fiddle to Lionel Messi. 

  • Reports in Spain claim that Lionel Messi has urged Barcelona to sign compatriot and Juventus forward Paulo Dybala. The 23-year-old Argentine is regarded as a possible replacement for Neymar who is keen to quit Nou Camp this summer.

  • Arsenal have rejected a £10 million bid from West Brom for defender Kieran Gibbs. The Emirates club is holding out for £12 million for the defender. In other news, Monaco have slapped a £55 million price tag on target Thomas Lemar.

  • Premier League Champions Chelsea have lined up a move for Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The 23 year-old England International has informed Arsenal of his desire to quit the club. Chelsea had earlier completed the signing of Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid on a five-year deal. In other news, Chelsea have made a move for Brazilian sensation Richarlison. The 20 year-old Fluminense forward was expected to complete a £12 move to Ajax but the Blues have stepped in to hijack the move. 

  • West Ham United have completed the signing of Marko Arnautovic from Stoke City on a five-year deal. The Hammers have earlier signed Pablo Zabaleta on a free transfer and Goalkeeper Joe Hart on a loan deal from Manchester City.

  • Romelu Lukaku has completed a medical ahead of a potential move to Manchester United. The deal for the 24-year old Belgian is expected to be finalised and announced in the coming days. Reports suggests that Lukaku would earn £250,000 weekly wages at Old Trafford. Manchester United had earlier announced an agreement with Everton for a transfer fee of £75 million and £15 million in add-ons for Romelu Lukaku. Wayne Rooney is expected to move in the opposite direction in a deal worth £26.5 million and expected to be the highest paid player at Everton with £150,000 weekly wages. Manchester United are set to hijack another Chelsea transfer. The Old Trafford club are keen to sign Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, as their move for Nemanja Matic has stalled. 

  • Arsenal are set to break the club's transfer record with a £50 million move for Monaco midfielder Thomas Lemar. The Gunners have had initial bids of £30 million and £40 million for the 21 year-old rejected. In another development, Arsenal have slapped an £80 million price tag on Chilean star Alexis Sanchez and would not sell the player to any premier league club.

  • Reports in Italy suggests that Chelsea have made moves to sign Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata and right back Danilo. Similar reports suggest that Chelsea have also been offered James Rodriguez in a deal worth £52 million. Chelsea target Antonio Rudiger is in London for a medical ahead of a £34 million switch to Stamford Bridge. Antonio Conte is reported to be furious with Chelsea bosses over their lethargic approach to signings this transfer window. 

  • Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has made a stunning u-turn on his plans to leave Santiago Bernabeu over allegations of tax evasion. The 32-year old Superstar has now decided to stay at the club. 

  • Tottenham have lined up a £22 million move for Real Madrid's Mateo Kovacic. Spurs Boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen to sign the Croatian midfielder who is eager for regular first team football.

  • Arsenal have reportedly lined up a £125 million bid for Monaco sensation Kylian Mbappe. Club Boss Arsene Wenger is keen to sign the 18-year old star as he is currently in talks with Kylian's father to convince him that Arsenal is the best destination for his son. In another development, Arsenal's bid of £15 million for Napoli star Jorginho has been rejected. The club are poised to complete the signing of Lyon striker Alex Lacazette in a deal worth over £45 million. In other news, Everton have joined the list of clubs battling for the signature of striker Olivier Giroud.

  • Premier League Champions, Chelsea have completed the signing of goalkeeper Willy Caballero on a free transfer. In a related development, the Stamford Bridge club are set to complete the £35 million signing of Tiemoue Bakayok after the French midfielder completed a medical at Stamford Bridge days back. The Club have also agreed a £33.4 million fee with Roma for the transfer of Antonio Rudiger from Roma. The 24-year old German defender is expected to complete his medicals at Stamford Bridge this week. The Blues are also working hard to complete the signing of Alex Sandro from Juventus. The club have also lined up Alex Telles as an option should the deal to bring Sandro to West London falls through. A bid of £22 million has been reportedly tabled for the Porto full back. 

  • Manchester United are still interested in the signing of Everton striker Romelu Lukaku even with the club still chasing Alvaro Morata. Club boss Jose Mourinho is keen to fortify his attacking options ahead of the new season. In a related development, Monaco have rejected a £40 million bid from PSG for Manchester United target Fabinho. Reports claim that Manchester United are set to launch a £61 million bid for Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan. Jose Mourinho is reported to be interested in Inter Milan's Mateo Kovacic.   

  • Liverpool are close to the signing of RB Leipzig central defender Naby Keita. The 22-year old Guinea International is valued at £70 million.

  • Manchester City are set to launch a £110 million swoop for four defenders. The target defenders are Tottenham's Kyle Walker valued at £50 million, Southampton's Ryad Bertrand valued at £25 million, Monaco's Benjamin Mendy valued at £40 million and Juventus' Dani Alves who is a free agent. City Boss Pep Guardiola is keen to fortify his defence ahead of a title push and champions league assault next season. 

  • Chelsea are set to complete the signing of Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, the 22 year-old Frenchman is set to undergo a medical at Stamford Bridge in the coming days. Boss Antonio Conte is keen to find an ideal midfield partner for N'Golo Kante ahead of the new season. In a similar development, Chelsea are set to launch a £48 million bid for Juventus ace defender Leonardo Bonucci. The Stamford Bridge club is not relenting in its efforts to land another Juventus defender Alex Sandro by making an improved bid of £60 million for the Brazilian.   

  • Manchester United have shifted their attention to Tottenham striker Harry Kane. Boss Jose Mourinho has asked the club hierachy to drop their interest in Cristiano Ronaldo and sign Tottenham hitman Harry Kane who is currently valued at £100 million. In the meantime, Manchester United are still in talks with Real Madrid for £60 million deal to sign Alvaro Morata. In other news, the Old Trafford Club are also eyeing Barcelona left-back Jordi Alba. The Club are interested in bringing Croatian internationals Ivan Perisic and Marcelo Brozovic to Old Trafford. 

  • Liverpool are weighing a £30 million move for Arsenal forward Alex Oxlade Chamberlain. Club boss, Jurgen Klopp is an admirer of the England International and is set to sanction a move. 

  • Arsenal believe that they have won the race for the signature of Lyon striker Alexander Lacazette. The deal is worth £44 million. In other news, West Ham are interested in £25 million signing of England winger Theo Walcott.

  • Real Madrid have slapped a £350 million price tag on Cristiano Ronaldo to ward off interests from Manchester United and PSG. The 32 year-old Portuguese is unhappy with the Santiago Bernabeu club due to perceived lack of support in his current battle with the Spanish tax authorities. Reports suggests that Cristiano will only stay at the Spanish Capital if they would settle his £13 million tax bill. Ronaldo was reported to have informed Sir Alex Ferguson of his desire to quit the Spanish giants six weeks ago. Ronaldo has four years left on his contract with the Club and his buy-out clause stands at £875 million.  

  • Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is interested in a Cristiano Ronaldo - Eden Hazard swap deal. In another development, Chelsea's £55.2 million bid for Juventus Left-Back Alex Sandro has been rejected. In other news, Atletico Madrid are set to re-sign striker Diego Costa in a deal worth £26 million. The Spanish club would loan back the striker to Chelsea until December 2017. FIFA slapped a transfer ban on the Spanish club until January 2018. Chelsea have identified Lyon's striker Alexandre Lacazette as an option if their bid for Everton's Romelu Lukaku falls through. The Stamford Bridge club are also set to launch a £42 million move for Roma Defender Kostas Manolas. Chelsea are willing to sell Bertrand Traore to French Club Lyon for £16.6 million.  

  • Manchester City are set to swoop for Juventus Defender Dani Alves and Tottenham Right-back Kyle Walker. Club Boss Pep Guardiola is keen to fortify his defence ahead of the new season.   

  • Arsenal are on the verge of beating Everton to the signature of Norway and Genk Midfielder Sander Berge. In other news, Arsenal have slapped a £25 million price tag on English midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

  • Liverpool are close to completing the £35 million signing of former Chelsea forward Mohammed Salah. 

  • Everton have completed the signing of Malaga striker Sandro Ramirez. The Merseyside club are also set to make an improved bid of £30 million for Swansea star Gylfi Sigurdsson.

  • Manchester United have agreed a fee with Benfica for the transfer of Sweden international defender,Victor Lindelof subject to passing medicals and international clearance. The deal to sign the 22-year old defender is in the region of £30.75 million. In a similar development,the Old Trafford club are close to the £64 million signing of Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata. 
  • Manchester City have lined up a move for Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez and are willing to make the 28-year old Chilean the highest paid player at the club. In another development,the Etihad club are not willing to reignite their interest in Southampton defender, Virgil Van Dijk as Liverpool ended their interest in the Dutch Centre Back.
  • Arsenal have lined up a move for Real Madrid midfielder, James Rodriguez. Club Boss, Arsene Wenger is still interested in bringing Monaco Sensation Kylian Mbappe to the Emirates this summer. In another development, English winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is a £40 million target for Liverpool and West Ham United are confident about signing Olivier Giroud this summer. Also West Ham United are set to hijack Arsenal's move for Nigerian international Henry Onyekuru. 
  • Chelsea are close to completing the signing of Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko. The Stamford Bridge club are also set to launch a £48.5 million bid for Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci. 
  • Reports in Spain suggest that Lionel Messi has urged Barcelona to sign Leicester winger, Riyad Mahrez. The Algerian forward has been a target for a host of Premier League clubs including Arsenal and Chelsea.

  • Arsenal have launched an audacious bid for Monaco sensation Kylian Mbappe. The bid have been rejected. The French club is trying to persuade the 18-year old French forward to sign a new deal to stay at the club. In another development, Club boss, Arsene Wenger is considering a move for Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez after the 26-year old Algerian asked to leave the King Power club. In other news, Arsenal are in a battle with Tottenham for the signature of Monaco midfielder Thomas Lemar. The club are also eyeing Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan who has been told leave Nou Camp.The Gunners have also slapped a £17 million price tag on striker Lucas Perez.
  • Manchester United are on the verge of completing a £45 million deal to sign Inter Milan midfielder Ivan Perisic. The Old Trafford club have reignited their interest in Benfica defender Victor Lindelof and are poised to sign the 22-year old Swede this summer.  
  • Liverpool are in talks with Roma for the signing of former Chelsea forward Mohammed Salah. The Anfield club are have had an initial bid of £28 million rejected. Roma currently values the Egyptian winger at £35 million. In another development, Italian champions Juventus are interested in signing Emre Can currently valued at £26 million by Liverpool.
  • Chelsea are set to end their interest in Monaco defensive midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko and switch attention to Lyon central midfielder Corentin Tolisso. In another development, Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham are all interested in signing Juventus defender, Dani Alves.
