  • Meanwhile, Arsenal are battling Manchester City for the deadline day signature of Monaco striker Radamel Falcao. Arsene Wenger is confident about landing a striker before midnight. Danny Welback of Manchester United, Wilfried Bonny of Swansea City and Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca are among the list of possible targets.

  • Chelsea have completed the £10.5 million signing of French striker Loic Remy on a four-year deal. Dutch midfielder Marco van Ginkel has agreed to join AC Milan on a season-long loan deal. Spanish striker, Fernando Torres has joined Italian club AC Milan on a two-year loan deal.

  • Manchester United have lined up a £25 million deadline day move for Dutch midfielder Kevin Strootman. The Club are still confident about landing Chilean forward Arturo Vidal before the transfer window closes this midnight. The likes of Danny Welbeck, Tom Cleverley, Javier Hernandez, Anderson, Anders Lindegaard and Nick Powell have all been declared surplus to requirement at Old Trafford.

  • Real Madrid are interested in a deadline-day deal for Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez. The Spanish giants are in the market for another forward after failing in their attempt to land Radamel Falcao.

  • QPR Boss Harry Redknapp is planning a move to bring back former Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe back to the premier league. He is also interested in out-of-favour Tottenham duo of Aaron Lennon and Sandro.

  • Tottenham have lined up a cash-plus deal which will see Andros Townsend and Jay Rodriguez move in the opposite direction. The club have also declared Roberto Soldado and Sandro surplus to requirement.
